History

Prevost Construction, Inc. was founded by Joseph and April Prevost. Through hard work and innovation, the team have grown the corporation into a full service general contracting company. Prevost Construction is a multi-faceted and versatile business compromised of a motivated and experienced team of professionals built on excellent customer service and outstanding workmanship. Here is their story…

In 2001, Prevost was first incorporated under the name Prevost Painting and Carpentry (PPC), Inc. Projects included residential and small commercial  jobs as well as the first opportunity to relocate and install decking and modular classrooms for a public school system in Maryland. The projects were completed ahead of schedule and the client was extremely impressed with the quality of work and open communication throughout the entire construction process. In the fall of 2002, Prevost completed a new residential project – a large, two-story garage and workshop. The building was an American Craftsman design which called for elaborate carpentry and use of cedar and mahogany trim and siding. As the client was extremely satisfied, he hired Prevost again the following year to completely remodel his home with the same American Craftsman design. The remodel included a complete overhaul of the existing structure and three additions. In the spring of 2003, Prevost broadened their scope of work to include the installation, decking, and skirting of modular projects as the prime GC. The Prevost’s had acquired the tools, trucks and equipment to complete all jobs successfully and on time.

In 2006, the company changed its name to Prevost Construction, Inc. in order to better align themselves and associate the strong reputation they had built in the area. Prevost began to build strong, lasting relationships with many modular vendors. Prevost’s reputation for handling large unit installations from start to finish in a timely and professional manner enabled further projects at the Pentagon and White House, as well as many local military bases, including Fort Detrick and Fort Meade.

For over ten years, Prevost Construction has served the entire Mid-Atlantic region and has developed an impeccable reputation for quality and professionalism. With the majority of business generated through repeat clients, Prevost Construction has formed genuine partnerships by earning the trust and satisfaction of their clients.
